Some people find it difficult to connect to others emotionally. They may be great at practical stuff, but their black and white thinking, and all or none approach to things can be frustrating for their partners.
Neurodiverse people can struggle to feel or express emotion, and can often appear cold and detached. This can be greatly challenging for their partner who craves emotional intimacy. If you such a person, or the partner of such a person, it is worth learning about neurodiversity. The neuro-diverse brain works differently to that of most ‘neuro-typical’ people, and understanding this can reduce a lot of conflict and improve the quality of relationships.
